Christmas Eve Services

December 20, 2017
Sunday, December 24 | 11:00 am Morning Worship | 5:30 pm Candlelight Evening Service

Join us this Sunday, Christmas Eve for two meaningful worship opportunities that are sure to be joyous, full of caroling and uplifting to your Christmas season. We will have morning worship at the 11 o'clock hour followed by an evening Communion and Candlelight Service at 5:30 pm. Both services will take place in the sanctuary and are open to the public! Bring a friend, family, or a neighbor, all are invited.

During the 11:00 am service join with us as we light the Love Candle, sing carols, and enjoy a vocal duet by Tom Freeman II and Bruce Hartgrove as they perform “The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth.” You will have the opportunity to join the choir in our “Annual Hallelujah Chorus Christmas Sing-a-long.” All that are interested are encouraged to join with the choir at the end of the service in the choir loft to sing the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s “Messiah.” Copies of the anthem will be available for those who would like to sing.

During the 5:30 pm service join us for the lighting of the Christ Candle, singing of many traditional carols and enjoy soloist Anthony Dean Griffey performing “Sweet Little Jesus Boy,” and Shelley Garis performing "O Holy Night.” This is our Communion and Candlelight service as we invite you to the Lord's Table and to share the light of Christ. Weather permitting we will recess to the Garden of Celebration while singing “Joy to the World.”
