At FBC it is our desire to help students feel empowered to follow and serve God in a way that is real and practical to them in today's world. Students, welcome!
We offer many things for students at First Baptist. From regular Wednesday evening activities, to offsite fellowship gatherings, retreats, day trips, mission trips, local serving opportunities, participation in Sunday's services and more!
At FBC we believe it is important to equip our student's to be leaders in tomorrow's church.
On Wednesday evenings we gather in the student center for fellowship and worship with our student ministry. During our fellowship time students are free to socialize, play video games, foosball, pool, ping pong, carpet ball, or shoot some hoops on our mini basketball goal. Worship begins at 6:45 pm lead by students at drums and vocals along with our Minister of Students at guitar & vocals. Our worship style is contemporary and utilizes music from many of today's christian artists. Our worship also includes an interactive message/bible study.
Every month we have an offsite fellowship gathering at one of our Student's houses or church members that have volunteered to host. For Student Fellowship's we come together for a few hours on a Sunday evening for food, games, and entertainment! This is a great way for us to build community as we seek to follow and serve God.
Every year we offer a fall, summer, and winter retreat opportunity along with day trips, local serving opportunities, and mission trips as planned.
To sign-up for an event please call the church office at 336-883-0178 or by email. Contact persons are Michael Stamey and our church receptionist. Please keep in mind if a deposit is required for a trip you may only sign up at the time of your deposit!
